Summary
Join MyFitnessPal as the Director of Talent Acquisition, leading the hiring strategy and strengthening the recruiting function. Reporting to the VP of HR, you will drive alignment between talent acquisition and workforce planning, enhance recruiting operations, and be responsible for end-to-end hiring for critical leadership roles. You will design and execute a forward-looking hiring strategy, optimize the recruiting lifecycle, lead and develop the recruiting team, and personally lead searches for senior-level roles. Build strong relationships with organizational leaders, provide regular updates to senior leadership, and leverage data and insights to improve outcomes. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition (5+ years leading teams), and proven success in designing and leading enterprise-wide hiring strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years leading and scaling recruiting teams
- Proven ability to design and lead enterprise-wide hiring strategies and talent initiatives
- Strong background in process design, recruiting operations, and recruiting technology systems
- Skilled at influencing and building trust with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in hiring for senior and critical roles across diverse functions
- Data-driven mindset with a focus on accountability, metrics, and continuous improvement

Responsibilities
- Design and execute a forward-looking hiring strategy that aligns with business objectives, growth targets, and workforce plans
- Translate organizational priorities into actionable recruiting plans, ensuring we are proactively positioned to attract and secure top talent across key functions
- Partner closely with People, Finance, and departmental leaders to forecast demand, identify capability gaps, and build a sustainable talent pipeline
- Optimize the full recruiting lifecycle; from requisition intake and sourcing to selection and onboarding; ensuring consistency, speed, and quality of hire
- Evaluate and refine recruiting infrastructure, tools, workflows, and performance metrics to drive scale and efficiency
- Leverage data and insights to inform decision-making, track progress, and continuously improve outcomes
- Lead and develop the Senior Lead of Recruiting and broader recruiting resources, cultivating a high-performing, collaborative team culture
- Set clear goals, provide ongoing coaching, and build capabilities within the team to meet evolving talent needs
- Personally lead or support searches for business-critical and senior-level roles, acting as a trusted partner to executive stakeholders
