Summary
Join Life360 as a Technical Program Management leader, reporting to the CTO. You will ensure major company programs meet objectives, hold teams accountable, and drive the evolution of our SDLC and internal processes. This role involves cross-functional collaboration, presenting to executive leadership, and managing a team of Technical Program Managers. The US-based salary range is $206,500 to $304,000, and the compensation package includes a wide range of benefits. Life360 is a remote-first company, so this position can be performed remotely within the US. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical program management, experience managing teams, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in technical program management or related roles
- 5+ years of experience managing a team or a department of technical program managers
- Experience delivering mobile applications and/or consumer hardware
- Superior communications skills: interpersonal, written, and presentation
- Superior organizational skills: note-taking, formal documentation, and task assignment
- Proven ability to understand and breakdown complex, multifaceted programs and projects into manageable pieces, organize cross-functionally and drive execution
- Comfortable with ambiguity and starting from "scratch"
- Experience with program management tools
- Experience working as part of a team, using analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and follow industry trends
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a growing department and cross-functionally with members at all levels of the organization
Responsibilities
- Ensure all major programs across the company meet their objectives
- Hold teams accountable for their delivery
- Be the primary driver of defining and evolving our SDLC and internal processes to optimize how work gets done
- Work with cross-functional partners across the organization
- Present updates to executive leadership
- Manage our team of Technical Program Managers, growing their careers and setting expectations for how they engage with teams across the business
- Translate organizational goals into actionable roadmaps
- Evaluate program success and adapt plans as needed
- Work with product managers, engineers, designers, and leadership
- Align competing priorities and negotiate trade-offs while holding teams accountable
- Work across engineering, product, marketing, and business functions
- Build partnerships and foster trust among teams
- Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and deliver resolutions
- Make strong decisions under uncertainty and pressure
- Keep user needs central to program decisions and outcomes
- Ensure program delivery aligns with business and customer value
