Summary

Join Aprio's Technology Advisory team as a Sage Intacct Practice Leader and drive operational excellence in our cloud accounting practice. This role demands deep accounting expertise, preferably with CPA credentials, and hands-on experience leading full-cycle Sage Intacct implementations. You will oversee solution design, data migration, dashboard development, mentor consultants, and collaborate with sales and marketing. Success requires strong project management, client advisory skills, and a passion for continuous improvement. The position involves multitasking, solution defining, data loading, software configuration, team and client training, support issue resolution, report and dashboard building, and process improvement. Prior accounting and Sage Intacct experience are required; specific industry experience is a plus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or MIS
  • Five (5) + years’ experience in consulting and implementing Sage Intacct
  • Client Accounting Services (CAS) role in a CPA firm or restaurant accounting firm
  • In-depth understanding of accounting standards, general ledger/subledger concepts, and financial close procedures
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, macros, etc.) for efficient data mapping, integration, and migration of customer data
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally with employees at all levels of a client’s organization, including executive leadership
  • Self-motivated with excellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and high personal quality expectations
  • Ability to successfully multi-task across projects, customers, and internal activities
  • Highly enthusiastic, proactive, positive-minded, customer-focused, and service-oriented
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle Sage Intacct implementations using a proven methodology to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, high client satisfaction, and successful adoption
  • Consult with clients to gather, define, and document accounting workflows and system requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs
  • Perform data conversions from various systems (e.g., QuickBooks), including cleansing, mapping, validation, and testing
  • Design and implement industry-specific KPIs, reports, and dashboards tailored to restaurant and hospitality clients
  • Provide user training, resolve support issues, and deliver exceptional service to clients across all organizational levels
  • Scope, estimate, and manage engagements, including labor, budget, and deliverables. Supervise and mentor consultants, ensuring quality and consistency in project execution
  • Build long-term client relationships through proactive, clear communication and by addressing back-office service needs and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with business development on new opportunities, refine customer profiles, and support marketing and sales initiatives
  • Stay current on industry trends and technologies, offering strategic recommendations to clients and internal teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, CMA, or PMP certification
  • Specific Industry vertical experience
