Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading writing teams
• 6+ years of people management experience at fast-paced tech companies
• Experience creating and scaling writing teams, processes, and programs
• Experience developing trust and rapport with a broad range of stakeholders, including executives

Responsibilities

• Oversee the UX Writing function, ensuring its effectiveness in defining alignment, strategy, user experience, and content
• Manage a team of 6 senior writers, supporting their practice, growth, and mental health
• Partner with cross-functional leaders and executives to generate strategy and define success, in support of the IC writers
• Allocate resources thoughtfully to ensure the team is doing the most impactful work possible
• Socialize the team’s skills, impact, and insights across the organization
• Advocate and build a vision for the craft of UX Writing, both at Figma and across the industry
