Summary

Vercel is hiring an experienced DX Engineer with technical writing background to join their Docs team. The role involves creating high-quality documentation for Vercel's tools, libraries, and APIs, working with cross-functional teams, and adhering to deadlines. Candidates should have at least five years of experience in a related role, proficiency in frontend tools, excellent communication skills, and the ability to quickly adapt to new domains.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience as a Technical Writer, Developer Experience Engineer, or related role
• Proven track record of creating impactful documentation
• Knowledge of frontend tools such as TypeScript, Next.js, and Vercel
• Proficiency in MDX, Markdown, and Git workflows

Responsibilities

• Develop and update technical documentation, focusing on Vercel's tools, libraries, and APIs
• Act as customer zero, ensuring our documentation meets the reader's needs and enhances their experience using our products
• Review and refine documentation and code examples for clarity and adherence to our style guide
• Proactively maintain and improve the documentation sites
• Manage your projects in coordination with the team, adhering to deadlines and contributing to our documentation strategy
• Embrace new products and processes, sharing knowledge and driving documentation quality and innovation
