Requirements
- Must be recent grad, a junior, a senior, or graduate student in an accredited program
- Provide a copy of your transcript
- A love of comics and eagerness to learn
- Basic knowledge in graphic software such as Photoshop and Clip Studio
- Must be a highly creative storyteller with an understanding of basic story structure
- Strong interest in and knowledge of pop-culture and current trends
- The ability to present your ideas to an editor
- A fearless thirst for making content for new audiences
Responsibilities
- Source series from our CANVAS platform with value and clear objectives in mind
- Learn the key attributes of a WEBTOON Original series including story, art, and format
- Provide meaningful creative input into the sourcing and development of series
- Participate in daily readings and discussions of both Originals and CANVAS series
- Assist in reading and sorting 2025 Webcomic Legends Contest entries
- Contribute to new concepts that break tradition and expectations
- Gain familiarity with optimal editorial practices and strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- Some experience developing comics or other visual media through their coursework or independently
- Be fans and avid consumers of a variety of online content
- Some experience in digital content production
Benefits
$17.28 - $17.28 an hour
