Summary

Join Junior Achievement of Wisconsin as an Education Manager and make a difference in the lives of young people. This part-time, remote position (15-20 hours/week, September-June) offers a competitive hourly rate ($23-$24). You will work directly with schools, educators, volunteers, and businesses in Portage and Wood Counties to plan and implement JA programs. Responsibilities include securing new partnerships, ensuring program quality, and increasing public awareness of JA. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, and possesses excellent communication and presentation skills. This is a highly visible role within the education and business community.

Requirements

  • HS diploma required
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Office) and data management
  • Capable of working independently
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Competency in or willingness to learn computer-based programs
  • Must have valid Wisconsin Driverโ€™s License

Responsibilities

  • Work with schools, educators, volunteers and businesses directly for program placement
  • Renew commitments of schools, educators, volunteers, and donors that are currently utilizing and supporting Junior Achievement programs
  • Market and secure new partnerships with businesses, schools and youth organizations
  • Assure quality through monitoring and collection of participants and program information
  • Increase public awareness of Junior Achievement in the education and business community through presentations and other outreach
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and program quality through face-to-face, phone and electronic communication
  • Provide efficient and personable service to program participants through prompt follow-through and organization
  • Implement volunteer orientation and training
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Perform other duties as instructed by supervisor

Preferred Qualifications

Associate/Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred
