Remote Email Marketing Specialist

Join Darkroom Agency LLC, a leading growth agency, as a fully remote Email Marketing Specialist! This role focuses on executing data-driven email and SMS strategies for e-commerce clients. You will collaborate with a Retention Marketing Manager, create engaging email and SMS campaigns, manage client revisions, and develop creative concepts. The ideal candidate possesses 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing and proficiency in Klaviyo or a similar ESP. Requirements

• Have experience working in Klaviyo or a similar ESP
• 2-4 years of work experience in digital marketing, copywriting, growth marketing, e-commerce, etc
• Past experience working at an agency or working with multiple clients in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with Klaviyo or similar email service providers
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, plus the ability to clearly articulate and express complex and sometimes technical ideas to a wide variety of people and groups at any level

Responsibilities

• Work directly with a Retention Marketing Manager to execute data-driven email and SMS strategies for our DTC/e-commerce clients
• Execute tasks for clients including writing, proofing, and scheduling email and SMS campaigns
• Work directly with clients to manage the revision and approval process of their emails and SMS messages
• Develop creative campaign concepts for your client's retention marketing calendars on a monthly basis
• Work directly with our in-house design team to develop the design approach, ensuring the design vision for campaigns and flows comes to live, and managing the revision and approval process for client emails
• Produce the copy for your campaign concepts and work directly with the client to gain approval on briefs before sending them to our in-house designers
• Driven and enjoy coming to the team and clients with new retention marketing ideas
• Execute automation/flow logic set-up, pop-up builds, and app integrations
• Write email and SMS marketing copy
• Build and deploy email and SMS flows and campaigns
• Develop content for our e-commerce, DTC clients

• You’re passionate about developing creative email and SMS marketing copy that drives loyalty and lifetime value for e-commerce clients
• You’re passionate about marketing, and especially interested in learning and growing in the DTC, and e-commerce marketing industry
• You’re a creative and experienced writer and looking to grow your career in marketing copywriting
• You're used to working in a fast-paced environment and can project manage multiple tasks at once for yourself, your team and your clients
• You dedicate time to learning and being on the cutting edge of trends and best practices in the world of DTC marketing
