Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in Human Resource Management/Employment Relations
  • Expert understanding of the unique business requirements and service offering of the organisation
  • Knowledge of employment and company compliance
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience 5+ years of HR/ER experience
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring people and teams
  • Proven negotiating skills with the aptitude to ensure win/win situations for all parties
  • Effective presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information across various levels

Responsibilities

  • Implementation of strategy for the functional area, in line with the broader Datacom strategy
  • Staying abreast of employment legislation
  • Creating surveys, interviews and other studies to conduct research regarding human resource policies, compensation, and other employment issues
  • Providing guidance and advice to other areas of People and Culture, and the business within the latitude of established company policies in order to meet schedules and resolve technical problems
  • Representing Datacom where necessary in meetings, negotiations and investigations with employees/their representative
  • Ensuring value and business outcomes are evaluated and articulated appropriately
  • Familiarity with recognised industry bodies of knowledge, both generic and specific
  • Mentoring and coaching others
