Replicated is hiring an Engineering Manager to join the growing team, who will manage and work alongside engineers in development pods, foster engagement with the open source community, and develop deep understanding of customer problems and opportunities.

Requirements

• Demonstrated understanding and application of the techniques and methods of modern product delivery, especially iteration and value validation
• Prior work experience building and delivering technical products
• Experience and passion for supporting and developing individuals on your team, and equally important, partnering with peers
• A champion of remote and distributed first culture which serves as a pillar for a great work culture
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Startup experience is highly valuable here
• Having hands-on experience with deploying, managing, and/or operating Kubernetes is important

Responsibilities

• Manage and work alongside the engineers on your development pods
• Foster engagement with the open source community and represent the project through meetups, conferences, monthly calls, etc
• Develop a deep understanding of the problems and opportunities of Replicated's users and customers; advocate for and drive forward solutions
• Assess incoming customer issues and help the team determine how best to resolve them
• Collaborate with your product manager partner to ensure your team is highly effective, delivering valuable new capabilities and innovations while also addressing critical bugs and engineering initiatives
• Contribute to how Replicated Engineering culture continues to evolve

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in open source software, and cloud-native ecosystem is extremely valuable
• Experience working on products in the developer tools space is extremely helpful
• Prior development experience in any stack is a great strength for this role
