Requirements

  • 5+ years of business development experience in a staffing agency environment
  • Strong β€˜hunter’ mentality with demonstrated success in generating leads and closing deals independently
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • In-depth understanding of staffing solutions for engineering roles and current industry trends
  • Proficient with CRM systems (HubSpot)
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, with exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop business relationships both virtually and in person

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a proactive sales strategy to generate new leads
  • Achieve new client contracts within the first 3 months by managing the sales process from lead generation to deal closure
  • Maintain and track sales pipeline and opportunity progress using Hubspot
  • Lead client negotiations and finalize contracts, working closely with internal teams as needed
  • Provide regular updates during internal meetings, weekly 1:1s, and company-wide briefings
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews to evaluate performance and strategize for future growth
  • Contribute significantly to meeting and exceeding our annual revenue targets
  • Travel occasionally as required for client meetings and industry events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with engineering staffing needs or technical recruiting
  • Advanced skills with CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot
