Requirements
- 5+ years of business development experience in a staffing agency environment
- Strong βhunterβ mentality with demonstrated success in generating leads and closing deals independently. Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- In-depth understanding of staffing solutions for engineering roles and current industry trends
- Proficient with CRM systems (HubSpot) for managing sales activities
- Highly motivated, results-driven, with exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop business relationships both virtually and in person
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a proactive sales strategy to generate new leads through networking, cold outreach, and leveraging existing relationships
- Achieve new client contracts within the first 3 months by managing the sales process from lead generation to deal closure
- Maintain and track sales pipeline and opportunity progress using Hubspot
- Lead client negotiations and finalize contracts, working closely with internal teams as needed
- Provide regular updates during internal meetings, weekly 1:1s, and company-wide briefings
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews to evaluate performance and strategize for future growth
- Contribute significantly to meeting and exceeding our annual revenue targets
- Travel occasionally as required for client meetings and industry events
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with engineering staffing needs or technical recruiting
- Advanced skills with CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot
