Requirements

  • Compassionate Leadership: You’ve successfully led teams of engineers, focusing on empathy, active listening, and supporting their growth both personally and professionally
  • Mobile Expertise: Deep understanding of iOS and Android development, including release processes and app store management. Proficiency in Swift or Kotlin is a plus
  • Collaborative Approach: You excel at bringing cross-functional teams together, ensuring alignment between engineering, design, and product teams, and driving towards shared goals
  • Inclusive Team Building: You have a passion for creating diverse and inclusive teams, ensuring every voice is heard, valued, and empowered to contribute to the group's success
  • Strategic Vision: You’re skilled at developing long-term strategies that enhance engineering maturity, streamline processes, and ensure scalable, high-quality delivery as the company grows

Responsibilities

  • Empower & Support Your Team: Lead and mentor a diverse group of engineers, providing regular one-on-one support and career development guidance
  • Champion Engineering Excellence: Foster continuous improvement within your team, working closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to elevate technical practices
  • Oversee Mobile Development: Lead every phase of the mobile development lifecycle, from release planning and QA to managing our App Store and Google Play listings
  • Collaborate & Lead Post-Release: Collaborate closely with the product team to handle post-launch challenges
  • Build Meaningful Stakeholder Relationships: Be the voice of the mobile team in meetings with the CEO, CTO, Head of Engineering, and other stakeholders
