Join Axonify as an Account Executive and sell their modern Frontline Enablement platform to enterprise-level clients. You will be responsible for managing opportunities, navigating to decision-makers, building business cases, developing territory strategies, disrupting the status quo, owning relationships, using sales and marketing tools, presenting the solution, collaborating with the marketing team, offering guidance to junior sales team members, creating proposals, tracking activities in Salesforce, maintaining professional knowledge, managing negotiations, gaining a deep understanding of the platform, collaborating with internal experts, and more. This role requires 5+ years of experience selling complex B2B SaaS software to enterprise clients, technical solution expertise, strong understanding of business and sales, persuasion and influencing skills, effective presentation skills, self-motivation, goal orientation, proven sales success, experience in prospecting, developing client relationships, negotiating complex deals, managing activities in Salesforce, territory management experience, and flexibility to travel up to 25% of the time. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience selling complex B2B SaaS software to enterprise clients, preferably in a disruptive market
- Technical solution expertise, in addition to a strong understanding of business, sales and strategic pipeline growth and management
- Expertise in persuading and influencing, gaining support, and planning ahead for prospective sales activities
- Ability to deliver effective presentations and be intentional on all communication to create a strong value proposition
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, with proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Demonstrated experience in prospecting, developing client relationships, and negotiating complex, fully custom deals through to close
- Experience managing and tracking activities in Salesforce and working with leadership to create a sales growth plan
- Territory management experience
- Flexibility to travel to customer locations within North America up to 25% of the time, when appropriate
Responsibilities
- Manage opportunities from qualification to close, through large, complex enterprise sized organizations
- Navigate to decision makers within organizations and builds business cases illustrating ROI to drive opportunities
- Recognize and creatively address potential “red flags” in the buying processes of large organizations
- Develop an effective territory strategy that ensures prospecting coverage and effective pipeline generation
- Disrupt the “status quo” within organizations and initiates change by demonstrating and getting agreement on a new approach to learning
- Own the relationship through the entire sales process actively engaging other resources as necessary to ensure success
- Use the latest sales and marketing tools and modern social media approaches to connect with strategically determined accounts
- Present and demonstrate the Axonify solution to potential prospects by traveling to the customer site or via electronic presentation if appropriate
- Work in collaboration with the marketing team to establish and grow pipeline through targeted outbound strategies
- Offer guidance to junior sales team members on the Business Development Team
- Create proposals and quotations for qualified prospects and lead RFP process for prospects
- Track activities in Salesforce and work with leadership to create a sales growth plan
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through ongoing training; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
- Manage the negotiation and contract process on deals at and above $500,000
- Gain deep understanding of the Axonify platform and methodologies and use this information to target sales efforts
- Collaborate with internal experts, mentors and team members on marketing campaigns, such as trade shows, webinars, website visits and referral inquiries
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with eLearning products or solution to support frontline audiences will be a major plus
