Requirements
- 3+ years of successful enterprise sales experience, with a consistent history of meeting or exceeding quota
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with some knowledge in one or more of the following: container platforms (Kubernetes, Docker), cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps tooling, or CI/CD platforms (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins)
- Proven ability to ramp quickly on new products, technologies, and sales motions
- A competitive, goal-oriented mindset with the drive to exceed expectations
- Strong collaborator who thrives in a team-first, fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing both technical and business stakeholders
- Willingness to travel as needed to support key customer relationships and in-person engagements
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a resourceful, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and strong work ethic
Responsibilities

- Work closely with both technical and business stakeholders, guiding them through complex buying cycles and helping them understand the strategic value Chainguard brings to modern software supply chain security
- Consistently meet or exceed quota by executing a clear sales strategy, managing opportunities in our CRM, and collaborating with internal teams across product, marketing, and sales engineering
- Provide valuable feedback to influence product direction and stay ahead of a competitive and fast-evolving market
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling SaaS or developer tools to technical and security buyers
- Background working in fast-paced startups or early-stage environments
- Strong sales instincts and a solid understanding of modern B2B sales processes
- Technically curious with the ability to translate complex solutions into clear business value
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, ever-evolving product and market landscape
