Summary
Join NBC Sports Next as an Enterprise Account Manager and play a key role in developing and executing the company's enterprise account management and sport vertical strategy for baseball, softball, hockey, soccer, and lacrosse. Collaborate with sales, product development, safety, and marketing teams to manage accounts, upsell, secure renewals, and deliver a high-level customer experience. Focus on revenue generation and implementing best-in-class account management practices. This fully remote position offers competitive compensation and company-sponsored benefits. The role involves working with top enterprise accounts and requires strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. This position is expected to transition to SpinCo in the future.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in SAAS Account Management, and a track record as a leader, collaborator, and innovator
- Demonstrated experience in delivering value and superior customer service
- Strong knowledge of the sport landscape inclusive of trends unique to the USOPC and NGBβs, SafeSport and Risk Management, tier one sport revenue verticals
- Experience in developing account review plans and presentations
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and effectively
- Willingness to travel to engage prospects and partners
- Naturally curious, positive, and enthusiastic
- Empathetic, solutions oriented and a true passion to service customers
- A self-starter and problem solver, a team player
Responsibilities
- Collaborate across business functions to develop, establish, and execute the companyβs enterprise account management and sport vertical strategy
- Own a book of business that includes the top baseball, softball enterprise accounts
- Provide consultative feedback and advice to help create the best possible experience for our customers and their entire organization
- Liaise with the product development, safety, and marketing teams to ideate and create strategic account management assets
- Hold regular account reviews and promote adoption of all SportsEngine services
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in a matrixed organization and collaborating across key cross-functional roles that can include Strategic Planning, Business Development, Content, Project, and Product Management
- Proficiency with Salesforce, or similar CRM experience, is a plus
- Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice (if applicable)
