Join Summer, a Certified B Corpยฎ with a mission to maximize savings for Americans burdened by student debt, as their Enterprise Sales Director (Healthcare). Reporting to the SVP of Commercial, you will develop and oversee the healthcare sales strategy, building strong relationships with healthcare enterprises. You will identify and close sales targets, engage with executive-level decision-makers, lead sales calls, and analyze data to help clients achieve their goals. The ideal candidate possesses 5-10 years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in a high-growth company or startup selling B2B to healthcare companies, and has an extensive network of healthcare professionals. This role requires expertise in industry trends, client needs, and the complex enterprise buying process. Up to 25% travel is required.

Requirements

  • Proven Success: 6+ years of strategic selling into Enterprise and/or Mid-Market accounts 5+ years of high performing sales experience (Minimum)
  • Professional Acumen: Experience calling on C-Suite and senior management with executive presence. Strong ability to engage with decision makers across roles and seniority
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Possess the ability and experience to work complex enterprise-level opportunities
  • Enterprise-level Expertise: Expert Negotiation, Presentation and Communication Skills
  • Agility and Urgency: Must be agile, detail-oriented, and work with urgency
  • Network: Have an existing network of healthcare or healthcare-related buyers

Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage and close healthcare enterprise targets to meet annual sales targets
  • Engage with the Executive and C-Suite level, including CFOs, CHROs, and their respective organizations
  • Lead sales calls, analyze data, prepare presentations, develop pricing, and structure deals to help clients achieve their goals and grow the business for Summer
  • Be an expert with industry trends, client needs and the complex enterprise buying process
  • Research and understand the prospective clientโ€™s business goals, objectives and challenges
  • Work closely with sales leadership and marketing to generate leads and build pipeline of private and public sector medical organizations
  • Leverage an existing professional network in order to grow a pipeline of healthcare prospects and continuously build to expand the network
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate cross functionally with Product, Client Success, Legal and others to ensure deals close and clients have a successful onboarding experience
  • Communicate accurate and timely revenue forecasts to multiple levels of management
  • Actively participate in the preparation and execution of GTM strategies, events and conferences, relevant trade shows and campaigns
  • Up to 25% travel required to clients, conferences, and internal onsites
