Summary
Join Chainguard as a Sales Engineer and leverage your technical expertise to help customers understand and adopt our innovative solutions. Partner with the sales team to showcase the value of Chainguard products, focusing on acquiring new customers and expanding the existing customer base. You will own the technical aspects of sales opportunities, conducting product demonstrations, and participating in marketing initiatives. This role requires experience in sales engineering, familiarity with sales frameworks (MEDDPICC or Command of the Message), and expertise in container technologies, cloud technology, and cloud security. Success in this position demands strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to build customer relationships, and a passion for technology. Requirements
- Experience being a Sales Engineer / Presales Engineer
- Experience with MEDDPICC and or Command of the Message sales frameworks
- Experience selling into Enterprise and Mid Market prospects
- Experience in the following areas: Container technologies (Kubernetes, Serverless, Docker)
- Cloud technology (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.)
- Cloud security or containers security
- Your passion for technology, success, and for your team
- Smart and passionate people that can persevere to success
- People acting as trusted advisors, able to build credibility with customers
- Strong team players committed to help and mentor their peers
- Experience selling in region ( Netherlands Belgium Luxembourg)
Responsibilities
- Partner with our Sales Team to help customers evaluate and prove the value of our solution
- Focus on acquiring new customer “logos” in addition to growing existing customer base
- Own all technical aspects of sales opportunities and assisting current customers understand the value of Chainguard
- Day to day responsibilities include: Listen to our customers and understand their challenges
- Conduct product demonstrations and POVs/POCs
- Actively participate in webinars, meetups, conferences and other marketing initiatives
