Summary
Join HCL Software as a Product Sales Specialist and play a crucial role in driving revenue and customer growth. As a subject matter expert for Appscan, you will focus on new customer acquisition and relationship management. Key responsibilities include delivering presentations and workshops, building a sales pipeline, acting as a deal coach, collaborating with the sales team, and developing technical sales capabilities with partners. You will need 5+ years of sales/pre-sales experience in enterprise software, experience selling security software solutions, and executive-level selling experience. Requirements
- 5+ years of sales/pre-sales experience in the enterprise software industry
- Experience in selling Security Software solutions
- Executive-level selling experience and consultative selling capabilities
- Exceptional presentation skills for delivering executive-level and value-based presentations
- Strong ability to understand and articulate solutions based on the HCL software portfolio
- Proven track record of generating new business and developing long-term partnerships
- Familiarity with competitive technologies (e.g., Veracode, Checkmarx, Opentext, Qualys β¦.) and their market positioning
- This role requires collaboration with local customers, therefore fluency in the local language and English language is required
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert and evangelist, delivering high-quality presentations and workshops to clients, including Developers, Architects, IT managers, and CxOs
- Build a new business sales pipeline of high-value accounts to exceed acquisition and output goals
- Act as a complex deal coach and/or executive sponsor on key opportunities
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to create compelling proposals and solutions tailored to customer needs
- Work with internal support partners to ensure effective coordination and communication throughout the sales process
- Develop technical sales capabilities and competencies with HCL Software partners to promote the adoption of Appscan solutions
- Present and negotiate with Executive Leadership, both internally and externally
- Meet sales targets through a solutions-focused approach, always prioritizing customer needs
- Experience of using sales opportunity qualification tools e.g. MEDDPICC, BANT
- Be able to solution the customer requirements
- Be able to do a Demo to the customer
