Summary

BioRender is seeking a passionate and motivated Business Development Representative with a love for events and selling to join their sales team. The role involves prospecting new leads at conferences and field events, becoming an expert in BioRender's software, and collaborating across departments. Candidates should have prior experience in sales or marketing, strong communication skills, and be committed to meeting goals.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of prior experience as a sales intern, business development representative, customer service representative or in a marketing role preferably in a SaaS environment
  • 1+ years of experience in a related field (BioTech, Pharma) marketing and /or event space is a huge asset

Responsibilities

  • Prospect new leads (outbound) within event platforms reaching out to speakers and attendees
  • Prospect new leads (outbound) via telephone, LinkedIn, event platforms and email tools
  • Organize, categorize, and prioritize contacts in internal databases, CRM and event registration websites to execute outreach
  • Become an expert in the features, benefits and application of BioRender’s software
  • Leverage prospecting tools to research companies and identify key stakeholders to invite to events at BioRender field events such as executive dinners and happy hours
  • Work with Events team and Account Executives and Customer Success to drive outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, emailing, and communicating our value proposition to decision-makers
  • Traveling representative at industry conferences and proprietary events connecting with scientists that are prospects and customers. Flexible hours will be required as event schedules are dependent
