Requirements
- 3+ years experience in an events role
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized and able to work without close supervision
- Team player/can do attitude is a must
- Travel is required; travel documents must be in order
- Proficiency in Google Suite programs: Sheets, Docs, Slides, Meet, Forms etcβ¦
Responsibilities
- Work with the Senior Events Manager to maintain a robust calendar of global, community-focused events, brand-forward marketing events and press/media events as needed
- Track and support end-to-end event logistics; including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, timeline development, and on-site coordination
- Work in a cross-functional capacity with other teams to ensure coverage of events across social media, email, content marketing, partnerships and more
- Support event ticketing and registration for attendees. This includes event communications and event updates to attendees as needed
- Track event budgets and handle accounting needs including team expense submissions, invoicing, payments, organization, and tracking
- Secure cost estimates of different items, products, and services for vendors related to the upcoming event, as needed
- Work with different vendors and offices to secure general permits and documents, as needed
- Assist in collecting, maintaining and communicating all major event details in a cross functional internal capacity, as well as reviewing details being distributed to external attendees
- Participate in and support post-event follow-ups, surveys, evaluations, and relationships with vendors and sponsors
