Summary
Join our team as a highly motivated Executive Assistant / Chief of Staff to support the Managing Director in a fast-paced fintech environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a strategic role in business operations, decision-making, and execution. You will partner with the MD to drive key business priorities, prepare materials for stakeholders, and coordinate strategic projects. Responsibilities include conducting market research, analyzing data, managing schedules, and ensuring effective communication. The ideal candidate will have experience in advisory, investment banking, or fintech, with a strong understanding of payments, lending, and digital banking.
Requirements
- 4β7 years of experience in management consulting , investment banking , or corporate strategy roles
- Strong exposure to or interest in fintech , particularly in payments, lending , or digital banking
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to influence and build strong relationships
- Self-starter, detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure
Responsibilities
- Partner with the MD to drive key business priorities and strategic initiatives
- Prepare briefing materials, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate and track the execution of high-level strategic projects
- Conduct industry and market research to support strategic planning and business development
- Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities
- Support due diligence, financial modelling, and benchmarking exercises when necessary
- Manage the MDβs schedule, prioritize tasks, and coordinate key meetings and follow-ups
- Organize offsites, townhalls, and strategic planning sessions
- Maintain oversight of deadlines, priorities, and deliverables across departments
- Act as a trusted point of contact between the MD and internal/external stakeholders
- Draft high-quality correspondence, memos, and communications on behalf of the MD
- Ensure timely and effective communication flow across departments
- Identify gaps and implement solutions to improve operational workflows
- Support execution and tracking of KPIs and performance metrics
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion on sensitive matters at all times
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus)
- Prior experience supporting C-level executives or working in a startup/scale-up environment is advantageous
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Notion, and other productivity platforms
