Summary

Del Oro Consulting is seeking an experienced Executive Communications Manager to support their tech giant client. The role involves developing high-quality content for various audiences, coordinating with other communication functions, and creating communication strategies. • Strong organizational and management skills
• Effective time management skills and ability to complete given tasks perfectly within the given time
• Experience developing PowerPoint, blogs, and other communications deliverables
• Ability to take feedback and incorporate insights into future iterations and projects
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• 8+ years of combined experience driving Communications strategy and working in Executive Communications
• Experience working in the high-tech industry
• Expert written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support a VP and their leadership team to develop high-quality content for a variety of audiences
• Coordinate with other communication functions on high-level messaging
• Be able to synthesize multiple transformational programs into a clear message
• Partner with other resources to translate the evolving strategy into a clear message for stakeholders
• Develop and implement communication strategies and work plans through collaborative discussions
• Integrate into existing or develop new feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement
• Driving messages from the corporate platform into communication plans and strategies
• Ensure communication strategy is successfully executed across multiple internal media channels as needed
• Potential deliverables include executive communication strategy & plans, executive level presentations, executive event preparations like speaker notes, PowerPoint coordination, etc., and newsletters
