Summary
Join NVE Experience Agency as an Executive Event Producer to oversee all aspects of large-scale B2B events, from initial concept to final execution. You will lead project teams, develop event plans, manage budgets, and direct staff in the production of complex live shows. This role demands strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with extensive experience in event production and live show execution. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring seamless client communication. The position is a management role overseeing production teams and overall event operations. NVE offers a competitive compensation package and a hybrid work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 10+ years of proven event production experience required
- Minimum 3-5 years of live show experience with cue-based production
- Strong project management skills with proven ability to lead teams
- 5-7 years of management or supervisory experience
- Leadership and coaching skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Extraordinary organizational skills, self-motivation and intuition
- Thrive in a fast paced, agency environment
- Excellent computer skills Microsoft and Apple applications, team project software, social media sites
- Thorough understanding of permitting standards (Including but not limited to TPA, Special Event, Fire, Health & Safety, Building & Safety, Noise, etc.) and ability to successfully oversee production timelines and needs as related to permit procurement
- Ability to effectively manage tasks across multiple projects/various clients at the same time
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time while working remotely and in a standing position 50% or more of the time while working offsite
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Have a valid Driver’s License
- Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally heavier items
- Available to work weekends and evenings as needed for events
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of large and/ or complex B2B projects
- Lead in kick-off meeting
- Define roles and responsibilities of the project team
- Lead development of production schedule, project documents and organization of information
- Participate in creative development
- Organize and manage communications between event team members
- Serve as a key contact for client communications
- Manage freelance resources
- Look for innovative solutions to production and show execution methods
- Budget Management & ensure overall project health
- Develop Production Talent
- Manage live show development including scripting, cue sheets, rehearsals, and run of show
- Collaborate with technical directors, show callers, stage managers, and creative leads
- Direct and lead talent rehearsals and backstage flow
- Ensure all show elements are rehearsed and executed with precision during live performance
- Develop contingency plans and technical redundancies for live show risk mitigation
- Oversee & have knowledge of all production & technical elements that go into an event
