Summary

Join Flatiron School as a part-time contractor and become an AI technical expert facilitator! Guide small online classes (up to 5 learners) through engaging 90-minute synchronous sessions twice a week. Utilize provided curriculum and technology to deliver engaging coursework and provide personalized feedback. This 3-week contract requires 6 hours per week, with sessions held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7 pm CT. Share your expertise and passion for AI, mentoring the next generation of technologists. Compensation is $1800 for the contract, paid bi-weekly.

Requirements

• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth among learners
• Connect curriculum concepts with practical, real-world applications, enriching the learning experience and enhancing learners' understanding

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment grading and constructive feedback on learners' projects, helping them refine their skills and achieve their goals
• Lead a small group of learners, fostering a collaborative environment and leveraging your expertise to facilitate lively discussion that connects the course milestones to real-world applications
• Exemplify and uphold Flatiron School’s values in all interactions and engagements within the community

Preferred Qualifications

• 4 years of professional experience in the field with some mentoring/leadership experience
• Contract and part-time work experience is considered relevant experience
• Experience in instructional or mentoring roles, demonstrating a commitment to guiding and empowering others
