Summary

Join Chainguard as the SLED Field Marketing Manager and play a key role in accelerating demand in the public sector. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience marketing to the SLED audience
  • Expertise in field events: Deep experience planning and executing a variety of field events, with a track record of successful event strategies tailored to targeted accounts and regional dynamics
  • Partnership Mindset: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships aligning marketing programs with key business objectives
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using data and metrics to assess program effectiveness, with the ability to pivot strategies based on insights
  • Communication & Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate, inspire, and drive alignment across teams
  • Must be able to travel 20-25% during the quarter for event

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute national and regional SLED marketing programs to support pipeline and revenue targets
  • Create demand generation initiatives, including events, webinars, campaigns, and roadshows (both virtual and in-person)
  • Drive thought leadership and awareness campaigns tied to key industry trends and the SLED market
  • Analyze and optimize campaign performance, measuring impact on pipeline and sales cycles
  • Serve as the marketing point of contact for SLED sales leaders, reps, BDRs, and partners
  • Collaborate with sales to align marketing plans with pipeline and revenue objectives
  • Lead acquisition and nurture efforts to support pipeline development and opportunity growth
