Summary

Join Figure, a leading financial technology firm, as a Field Marketing and Community Manager Contractor. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elevate Figure’s brand awareness, drive pipeline, and boost partner engagement through various events and social media channels. Lead field events from concept to execution, including ABM initiatives for conferences and trade shows. Plan, develop, and execute a portfolio of events, manage event budgets, and oversee logistical aspects. Conduct post-event analyses and debriefs, assessing effectiveness and areas for improvement. Manage Figure’s social media presence across multiple platforms, responding to inquiries and amplifying key launches. Travel within the U.S. for event execution will be required. This is a contractor role working directly with Figure.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on planning and managing events and at least 1 year of social media engagement and community management experience
  • Proven ability to conceptualize and execute unique, high-impact events that drive engagement among existing and prospective partners and industry thought leaders
  • B2B marketing experience is essential; experience in Fintech (and especially Home Equity / Mortgages) or another highly regulated industry is preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrated expertise in executing events across in-person, hybrid, and virtual formats
  • Strong executive presence, with the ability to confidently engage and influence senior leaders, stakeholders, and external partners. Extensive cross-functional collaboration experience; a strong team player
  • You have strong instincts for writing effective content. You can distill technical or abstract ideas into engaging, well-crafted social posts
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • You are creative and bring a builder’s mindset. You’re excited to test ideas, explore new content formats, and learn what works through experimentation
  • A positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude with enthusiasm for new challenges

Responsibilities

  • Lead field events from concept to execution, including ABM initiatives for conferences and trade shows, sponsorships and speaking opportunities
  • Plan, develop and execute on a portfolio of events to potentially include conferences, trade shows, Figure-hosted events and other field events
  • Create and manage event budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Partner closely with the Partnership teams to align closely on objectives, outcomes, and positioning for the portfolio of events Figure is looking to sponsor, speak at, host, or attend throughout the year
  • Oversee all logistical aspects of events, such as venue selection, registration, attendee communications, speaker management, content development, materials, and onsite execution
  • Conduct post-event analyses and debriefs, assessing effectiveness, demand generation, and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute multi-touch, integrated marketing programs that align with Partnership objectives, revenue goals, and corporate initiatives
  • Track and measure event performance, sharing insights, progress updates, and results with both GTM and non-GTM stakeholders
  • Champion the core Figure values and brand positioning and be part of the team representing Figure
  • Run Figure’s day-to-day social media across LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Youtube, and others, including calendaring, posting, and reporting in-platform. Respond to product questions and address complaints about Figure’s offerings across all social platforms
  • Collaborate across teams to amplify key launches, company news, and thought leadership on social platforms
  • Travel within the U.S. for event execution as required

Preferred Qualifications

You'll collaborate with a skilled Design team, but having a keen eye for design, aesthetics and details will be helpful for ensuring visually compelling creative execution and effective outcomes

Benefits

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $115,000
