Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B field and event marketing, preferably in retail technology, supply chain software, or enterprise SaaS
  • Strong understanding of retail, grocery, wholesale, and CPG industries, including the challenges and priorities of key decision-makers such as merchandising leaders, supply chain executives, store operations managers, and finance teams
  • Proven expertise in end-to-end event management for major industry trade shows such as NRF, NACS, FMI, Gartner, Groceryshop, and similar
  • Experience managing both in-person and digital events as part of an integrated marketing strategy that supports pipeline acceleration
  • Experience working closely with sales and business development teams to align marketing initiatives with revenue goals
  • A strong understanding of the B2B sales funnel, pipeline management, and the role field marketing plays in lead conversion and acceleration
  • Exceptional project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience developing marketing content for executive audiences
  • A results-driven, self-motivated mindset with a passion for creating measurable business impact
  • A sense of ownership, accountability, and a desire to contribute to RELEXโ€™s growth in North America

Responsibilities

  • Research and evaluate industry events to determine sponsorship and engagement opportunities aligned with RELEXโ€™s target verticals, including grocery, general merchandise, hard goods, and CPG manufacturing
  • Develop and execute integrated event marketing programs that align with business objectives, including in-person trade shows, conferences, association activations, executive briefings, and virtual experiences
  • Oversee the event calendar and execution of all regional events, including contract negotiations, vendor management, site selection, registration, agenda planning, staffing, on-site production, signage, and content development
  • Create and manage custom events that engage both customers and prospects, driving lead generation and strategic account engagement
  • Drive marketing and promotional strategies around RELEX Live North America, ensuring alignment with pipeline goals and industry engagement
  • Develop promotional and engagement strategies to ensure event participation from the right audience at the right time, driving SQLs and qualified meetings
  • Partner with product marketing, demand generation, and brand & creative teams to develop high-impact content and assets (landing pages, videos, handouts, digital ads, social banners, etc.) tailored to retail, wholesale, and CPG buyer personas
  • Execute pre-, during-, and post-event campaigns that maximize attendance, brand awareness, and pipeline generation
  • Track and measure event impact on pipeline, marketing-influenced revenue, and sales acceleration to refine future strategies
  • Conduct pre- and post-event analysis to evaluate success metrics, optimize lead qualification processes, and ensure strong alignment with sales follow-up strategies
  • Provide data-driven insights to inform marketing decisions and improve ROI on event investments
