Finance Assistant

Summary

The Finance Assistant (UK & Europe) will assist with daily accounting activities and financial reporting at Huda Beauty. They will work closely with local finance, supply chain, and commercial teams.

Requirements

• Previous experience within an accounting environment and/or accounting degree
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders
• Proven ability to plan and prioritize own workload to meet tight deadlines
• Advanced skills in Excel
• High standard of accuracy with financial and statistical data
• Proactive, flexible and open to change

Responsibilities

• Work with the business to ensure correct and accurate end-to-end accounting, including cost controls, accruals required and ensure data integrity of information
• Assist in preparing financial reports and support monthly sales reporting, including tracking performance against Budget and Prior Year
• Monitor spend vs budget and working closely with department heads and the sales and marketing controllers
• Manage monthly reconciliations of travel expenses and fixed asset register
• Provide key support and assistance in the annual budgeting cycle and reforecasting
• Ad hoc project work, analysing complex and detailed financial data

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be desirable
