Summary

Join Boomi as a Finance Business Partner to oversee the P&L for Professional Services, partnering with stakeholders to deliver financial analysis and recommendations. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 10+ years of FP&A experience, with a strong preference for candidates from SaaS or subscription-based industries
  • Proficiency in SaaS financial tools and platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and Adaptive Insights
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills are essential
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, subscription-based revenue recognition, and financial modeling for customer success initiatives
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of Services and Support P&L, ensuring precise revenue recognition, expense forecasting, and profitability analysis in alignment with SaaS metrics and reporting standards
  • Own capacity and bookings to revenue models for professional services organization
  • Understand and model how services attach to subscription bookings
  • Analyze and report on metrics such as Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), Customer Acquisition Costs (CAC), and Net Dollar Retention (NDR) to inform business strategy
  • Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for Services and Support teams, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Support, and Product teams to provide financial guidance and ensure alignment with company goals
  • Develop detailed models to evaluate new initiatives, pricing strategies, and operational efficiency opportunities
  • Design and maintain dashboards to track KPIs specific to SaaS operations, providing real-time insights for senior leadership
  • Ensure financial practices comply with SaaS-specific regulations and accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606)

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition, SaaS pricing models, and customer success finance frameworks
