Summary

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, financial controlling, or financial audit
  • Solid knowledge of Romanian accounting standards (RAS) and IFRS
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Navision) and advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • Fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate financial reporting, strong compliance with accounting standards, and effective support for audits and strategic planning
  • Manage Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis: Manage budgeting cycles and provide analysis to optimize performance and guide strategy
  • Oversee Consolidation: Lead group consolidations with reliable reporting for management and regulatory needs
  • Drive Process & Controls: Implement process improvements while ensuring strong internal controls and compliance for accounting and reporting
  • Collaborating on Stakeholder Engagement: Work cross-functionally to provide financial guidance and support strategic decisions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification strongly preferred
  • Experience with group consolidation is a big plus
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance
  • Additional certifications such as ACCA or CFA
  • Auditing experience, ideally with a Big Four or other top-tier firm
