Summary

Osmosis is seeking an experienced Finance Director to manage all aspects of financial operations for their growing DeFi organization, with a focus on driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting. The role offers flexible work schedule, travel stipend, and flexible PTO.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and data analysis
• Deep understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements in the cryptocurrency / web3 industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior executives
• Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of driving results, managing teams, and fostering a culture of accountability and high performance

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies, plans, and policies aligned with the company's objectives and growth trajectory
• Manage all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting
• Conduct financial analysis and performance evaluations to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
• Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on financial matters, risk management, and investment opportunities
• Oversee financial audits, tax planning, compliance, and regulatory reporting to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support business initiatives, product development, and strategic partnerships
