Finance Manager

Summary

Join NPX as our experienced Finance Manager to lead and manage our finance department, overseeing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring financial health. You will develop and maintain financial policies, prepare financial statements, and conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This full-time, remote role based in Ontario requires a CPA designation, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and 3-8 years of relevant experience. You will work closely with senior leaders and external auditors. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
• 3-8 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Strong experience with financial reporting and compliance
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Eligibility to work in Canada

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance department, overseeing day-to-day financial operations
• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and efficiency
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts
• Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cash flow management
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinate audits and work with external auditors as needed
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize financial performance and growth
• Stay updated on financial regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation
