Requirements

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, including audit experience in a professional services or corporate environment
  • Proficiency in Xero, including setup, configuration, and custom reporting
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; familiarity with additional finance tools is a plus
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities; self-driven and resourceful

Responsibilities

  • Lead accounts receivable and payable processes, including invoice issuance, reconciliation, and payment tracking
  • Supervise month-end close processes with our external accountants and ensure they maintain accurate general ledger entries
  • Manage day-to-day communication and coordination with external accountants and tax advisors
  • Own the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Xero and Joiin accounting platforms
  • Review and validate employee expense claims and vendor invoices in line with finance policies
  • Assist in preparing management reports, financial statements, and reconciliations
  • Ensure internal controls, compliance processes, and audit readiness are upheld
  • Monitor budgets, support intercompany billing, and track cost allocations
  • Maintain well-organized, accessible financial documentation
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to finance workflows and systems

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a startup, SaaS, or international company environment is preferred
