Requirements
- Have 3-5 years of experience in Research Operations, Design Operations, UX Research, or similar operational roles, ideally in tech, fintech, or high-growth environments
- Excel at designing and optimizing efficient processes that simplify complexity and empower teams
- Are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Are comfortable leveraging analytics tools for data-driven decision-making and have experience with or interest in implementing automation and workflow optimization tools
- Communicate clearly and effectively, confidently partnering with stakeholders across all levels of an organization
- Care deeply about creating efficient, respectful experiences for internal teams and external participants alike
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a robust participant panel and research CRM, ensuring Mercury teams have rapid access to diverse, high-quality participants
- Collaborate closely with Finance to oversee incentive programs and budgeting
- Continuously refine Mercuryโs research processes, documentation, and self-serve resources
- Implement, optimize, and manage tooling and automation (including workflow optimization and user-friendly AI solutions) to empower teams conducting research independently
- Act as a strategic partner to product managers, designers, marketers, and engineers
- Support teams by ensuring research insights are communicated clearly, shared widely, and effectively integrated into product and strategic decisions
- Create intuitive, accessible documentation and educational materials, leveraging your UX research expertise in qualitative methods and quantitative analysis (e.g., SQL, analytics tools), to proactively upskill Mercury teams and increase their confidence and effectiveness in conducting research
- Champion best practices for participant privacy, data security, and ethical research
- Ensure consistent execution of Mercuryโs research standards across teams
