Financial Controller, Remote - Worldwide

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller with at least 5 years of combined accounting and finance experience to manage all aspects of financial management, including accounting operations, budgeting, regulatory reporting, and internal control policies. This is a remote work opportunity during US Pacific time zone hours or as required by the client.

Requirements

• Have proven progressive working experience as a Financial Controller
• Possess 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• Have thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Have experience with creating financial statements
• Be excellent QuickBooks Online user and administration skills
• Have a fully functional and up to date computer with which to perform duties
• Be willing to install next generation end point protection on the computer
• Be a current resident of the Philippines and can perform work from there
• Be willing to work during US Pacific time zone (8am - 5pm PDT, 12AM - 9AM Manila time) or during client hours as required
• Be open to a full-time, contract opportunity

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

CPA or CMA
