Financial Controller

Summary

The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the company's finances, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing cash flow management. The ideal candidate should have an accounting qualification and at least 6 years of international accounting experience.

Requirements

• Accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Knowledge and hands-on experience of managing transfer pricing issues

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements
• Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and standards across all entities
• Ensure compliance with all local tax & reporting obligations, leading audits as required
• Oversee cash flow management, including monitoring of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury activities
• Prepare reports for management, shareholders, and external stakeholders as needed
• Support the CFO during the annual budgeting process in setting financial targets and monitoring performance against the budget
• Manage the relationship with the outsourced finance team, aligning on priorities and holding the team accountable to deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong financial modelling skills
• Experience with treasury management strategies on hedging and investing
• Past experience of managing outsourced finance teams
• Implemented or supported the implementation of new finance systems eg. CRM, AP/AR solutions
