• Extensive proficiency in QuickBooks is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial regulations, and tax compliance
• Demonstrated experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategic financial management in a startup context
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial operations of the company
• Manage accounting processes, including the preparation of financial statements
• Conduct financial analyses to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Monitor cash flow and manage departmental budgets
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, tax laws, and other relevant financial regulations
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Optimize and manage the company’s financial software systems, with a strong emphasis on QuickBooks, ensuring seamless integration with other business systems
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance profitability
• Collaborate with executive teams on financial strategies and policies
• Develop and manage relationships with financial entities, auditors, and other stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

CPA certification is a plus
