Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in information systems, Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience
- Hands-on experience with system implementations, being part of a financial system rollout, upgrade, or migration project
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and financial stakeholders. Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Hands-on experience diagnosing and resolving system bugs, logging, triaging, escalating, and retesting fixes
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial workflows and financial systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Support post-implementation initiatives, helping troubleshoot and optimize processes following the recent deployment of a SaaS system
- Play a pivotal role in assisting with the implementation of a new ERP system, contributing to process design, data integrity, training, and system adoption
- Influence both immediate and operational improvements and the long-term technology roadmap of our finance team
- Identifies, analyzes, and resolves post-implementation bugs, configuration issues, and data inconsistencies
- Services as the first point of contact for finance end-users experiencing system errors or performance issues
- Verifies integrity and accuracy of financial data across systems. Performs reconciliations and audits to ensure proper functioning of interfaces and data migration
- Ensures detailed and up-to-date records of issues, resolutions, configurations and system changes. Assists in creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for ongoing support
- Supports new ERP implementation activities, participates in the selection, planning and execution of the ERP systems implementation lifecycle. Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into ERP system configurations
- Supports the design and configuration of core financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, etc.). Lead and coordinate system testing activities, including integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Coordinate data mapping, cleansing, and migration activities from legacy systems to the new ERP. Validates accuracy and completeness of migrated financial data
- Leads post-go-live support and optimization. Monitors system performance post-implementation, troubleshoot issues, and support stabilization. Identifies opportunities for process improvements and future system enhancements
- Serves as primary or secondary administrator for financial systems, including Lawson, LBI, Prophix
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) are preferred
- Familiarity with financial reporting platforms such as Cognos, Hyperion, or Smart View are a plus
- PMP, Agile, or Scrum project management certification are a plus
- The ability to perform root cause analysis and reconcile financial data between systems after data fixes are preferred
