Forward Deployed Engineer

Summary

Join Superblocks as a Forward Deployed Engineer and be a key link between our product and major enterprise clients. This role demands deep technical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to create transformative solutions. You will work directly with clients to design and build complex internal tools, create custom integrations, and act as a technical advisor. You'll prototype and showcase advanced platform features, give direct product feedback, and develop technical documentation. This position needs navigating complex enterprise environments and strong communication skills. Compensation includes a salary of $125,000-$150,000 USD plus a generous equity package.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of full-stack software engineering experience
• A proven ability to rapidly prototype and develop production-ready applications
• Expert-level programming skills in at least two languages (Python and Javascript/TypeScript preferred)
• A strong understanding of modern cloud architectures and distributed systems
• Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous technical environments
• Exceptional communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, ECE, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency in modern web technologies and full-stack application development
• Hands-on experience with integration development and API design
• Understanding of security best practices in enterprise environments
• Demonstrated ability to work with complex data pipelines and transformations

Responsibilities

• Embed directly with enterprise customers to architect and implement complex internal tool solutions
• Develop custom integrations, workflows, and applications using our platform that solve mission-critical business challenges
• Act as a technical advisor, translating complex customer requirements into scalable, innovative solutions
• Prototype and demonstrate advanced platform capabilities in high-stakes customer environments
• Provide real-time product feedback to our engineering team, directly influencing our product roadmap
• Create technical documentation, implementation guides, and reference architectures
• Navigate complex enterprise technical landscapes and organizational dynamics
