Summary

Join Embedded Medical as a Founding BDR (GTM) and play a pivotal role in onboarding new consumer-led healthcare brands. You will refine existing customer segmentation, build lead lists, iterate value propositions, and execute compelling outbound outreach. This fully remote, full-time position requires 3+ years of high-caliber sales/BD experience and a maniacal focus on metrics. You'll work closely with the Head of Sales and CEO, contributing to a rapidly growing company with a significant impact on global healthcare. Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in a high-calibre sales/BD role (or equivalent)
  • Intensity: High level of dedication and ambition
  • Metrics: Maniacal focus on tracking and analyzing metrics
  • Resilience: Ability to handle daily challenges and iterate to improve approach
  • Theory: Well-versed in sales theory, skilled copywriter, and adaptable to different techniques
  • Excellence: Highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently, and able to handle uncertainty
  • Language: Fluency in spoken and written English with a friendly accent to American ears
  • Timezone: Ability to work hours in the US timezone(s) of your choice

Responsibilities

  • Segmenting: Refine existing customer segmentation to better match reality
  • Prospecting & CRM: Build lead lists according to clearly defined segments, using imaginative information sources, and ensuring prospecting covers the whole target segment
  • Value props & Positioning: Iterate existing value propositions and positioning, crafting compelling copy, and constantly refining based on market feedback
  • Outbound: Execute compelling copy and creative outreach, balancing experimentation and persistence, and avoiding low-intent leads
  • Qualification: Avoid low-intent leads; focus on clear 'yes' prospects
  • Follow-up: Balance persistent follow-up with avoiding being annoying
  • Customer learnings: Share impeccable customer insights with the wider team, offering strong thoughts on funnel improvements, customer segments, value props, and product development
  • Collateral: Create sales materials as needed, balancing sufficient information without overwhelming leads
  • Tooling: Stay up-to-date on the latest AI-powered sales tooling
