Join Fundraise Up's growing finance team as a detail-oriented, highly analytical FP&A Analyst. You will be responsible for financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate possesses strong financial modeling skills, understands accounting principles, and communicates effectively in a fast-paced tech environment. This role involves developing and maintaining financial models, analyzing financial data, preparing reports, supporting the budget process, and conducting variance analysis. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, or a similar role in B2B SaaS start up
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis
- Experience with financial reporting systems and tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets
- Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations
- Support the budget process by collecting data, consolidating information, and providing analysis
- Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for deviations from budget or forecasts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and understand business performance
- Assist in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance dashboards
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or CFA certifications will be a plus
- Experience with Netsuite, Tableau, SalesForce, Modern FP&A Tools (Planful, Mosaic, etc)
