Summary

Join Fundraise Up's growing finance team as a detail-oriented, highly analytical FP&A Analyst. You will be responsible for financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate possesses strong financial modeling skills, understands accounting principles, and communicates effectively in a fast-paced tech environment. This role involves developing and maintaining financial models, analyzing financial data, preparing reports, supporting the budget process, and conducting variance analysis. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, or a similar role in B2B SaaS start up
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis
  • Experience with financial reporting systems and tools
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets
  • Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations
  • Support the budget process by collecting data, consolidating information, and providing analysis
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for deviations from budget or forecasts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and understand business performance
  • Assist in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance dashboards
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA or CFA certifications will be a plus
  • Experience with Netsuite, Tableau, SalesForce, Modern FP&A Tools (Planful, Mosaic, etc)
