Summary

Requirements

  • Passionate about financial planning, structure, and insights - you love adding value!
  • Able to manage, influence and present to key stakeholders including C-level executives - you are able to do the right thing, whilst maintaining relationships
  • Structured and coordinated in the way you work, you have excellent attention to detail and accuracy and leave very little room for error
  • Experienced working in the technology industry, enabling you to bring valuable insights and understanding of the dynamic and fast-paced tech environment
  • A strong communicator and have flawless presentation skills - you enjoy capturing the attention of the audience, and know how to distil the key message
  • Keen to navigate a scale-up environment, with complexities and challenges - data quality issues, tooling migrations and building the foundations excites you
  • Looking to develop the way the team and Paddle operates… and develop yourself too in the process

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the reporting and forecasting for your designated business areas, which involves understanding their strategies and objectives and ensuring that we see the highest ROI (financial or non-financial) for every $ spent
  • Ensure sound control over Paddle’s operating expenses by building relationships and helping the business navigate their costs and investments
  • Maintain and expand our monthly financial and operational reporting for our executive team, board and investors
  • Collaborate in workforce planning, in conjunction with the Talent Acquisition team and People partners
  • Respond to financial queries from business functions
  • Continuously strive to improve the relevancy and quality of reports and raw data
  • Ad-hoc reporting, financial analysis and projects as required
  • Regularly be using a forecasting tool (Pigment), accounting software (Netsuite, Xero), Excel/Google Sheets, and project management tools such as Asana
