Summary
Join Zilliant's Finance Team as an FP&A Analyst, a critical role involving analytical modeling and financial analysis. You will provide financial insights and projections for decision-making and planning, working closely with accounting and business teams. Responsibilities include coordinating key operating metrics, assisting with financial forecasts and budgeting, analyzing P&L aspects, and enhancing the financial planning system. The ideal candidate possesses 2-4 years of experience in finance or accounting with forecasting, planning, and analysis skills, advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge, and understanding of accounting principles. Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in finance or accounting roles focused on forecasting, planning, and analysis. Knowledge of software and/or a SaaS business model is required
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint knowledge with some knowledge of Business Intelligence Systems (Power BI, Tableau, SQL), as well as other ERP (NetSuite) and CRM systems (Salesforce)
- Advanced modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis abilities
- Deep knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles
- Full understanding of complete P&L and Balance sheet as well as Cash flow statement
- Experience with databases, Financial Planning tools (Vena Solutions)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with various functional areas of the business to provide key operating metrics (KPIs) and other performance measurements to facilitate timely and effective business decisions on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as appropriate
- Assist with the development of periodic financial forecasts for review with executive management and the Board of Directors
- Assist with the annual budgeting process, including development, documentation, training, timetables, and presentations
- Analyzes all aspects of P&L including revenue, bookings, and margin results as well as operating expenses for payroll, variable commission and bonus compensation, and all other operating expenses. Provides this analytical support on a monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc basis
- Assis with the development and enhancement of the financial planning system (Vena Solutions)
- Assist with the development and management of sales compensation plans
