Join Flexe as the FP&A Director and play a pivotal role in supporting the company's growth and scaling initiatives. You will be responsible for revenue forecasting, budget ownership, planning, and business analytics, working closely with leadership to drive resource allocation and identify improvement opportunities. Partner with sales leadership on revenue forecasting, sales efficiency, and compensation plan management. This individual contributor role offers high visibility and engagement across all company functions, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to a transformative organization. The position reports to the SVP, Strategy and Planning and involves frequent collaboration with the CFO. This role requires a strong analytical background and experience in financial modeling and business analytics.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience with 6+ of FP&A required
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent, MBA preferred
- Highly analytical and proven ability to solve problems both independently and working with teams
- Excellent financial modeling and business analytics track record, supported by exceptional Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets skillset
- Energized by a fast paced environment and a wide range of dynamic responsibilities
- Highly curious with a relentless drive to identify and deliver operational improvement
- Ability to partner across all areas of the business and drive win/win solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to work with multiple teams and resolve problems
Responsibilities
- Develop, evolve and maintain pipeline analysis, revenue forecasting and other models that contribute to understanding the overall health of the business
- Work closely with sales leadership to plan and evaluate sales and marketing investments and ROI
- Own the commissions calculation and support annual updates to the plan
- Own and drive the annual budget process
- Prepare P&L and unit economic analyses
- Model forecast and annual planning scenarios
- Perform ad hoc business, cohort, and payback analysis as needed
- Own and evolve the Contribution Margin model to support scalable growth
- Evaluate business performance and identify improvement opportunities and solutions
- Serve as an expert advisor and partner to senior leaders on contribution margin drivers and levers for improvement
- Own preparation of the Monthly Business Review analyses and content
- Support the creation of Board and reporting materials
- Own, evolve, and streamline the business analytics models and reporting that support the operating rhythm of the business
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ERP and Cloud FP&A tools is strongly preferred (NetSuite and Adaptive experience is a plus)
