Summary

Join DEPT®'s Global FP&A team as a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Professional. Based in any European office, you will work with large datasets, develop financial models, and provide insights to senior management. Key responsibilities include monthly financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and process development. You will collaborate with various stakeholders and contribute to strategic projects. The ideal candidate possesses FP&A experience, a relevant degree, excellent communication skills, and advanced Excel proficiency. Requirements

  • Experience within FP&A as a Cost Controller, Business Analyst or Business Partner
  • Qualified to degree level
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent English and the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • We’re looking for someone who is an advanced user of Excel and Google Sheets
  • Willing to take initiative, work independently and take responsibility that helps you in leading projects from start to end
  • Like to make analysis that people will rely on and can deliver clear outcomes without loose ends
  • Approach tasks as a team player and are happy to working to tight deadlines
  • Have an appetite to learn and innovate

Responsibilities

  • Working with large sets of data to develop financial models and analysis
  • Developing monthly financial analysis, analysing KPIs and challenging senior business leaders
  • Supporting with periodical forecasting and annual budget cycles
  • Developing processes and procedures to support sound financial governance
  • Working with senior stakeholders to manage budgets - bridging the finance world to other areas of the business
  • Becoming a key member of the Global team - building sound ways of working and operational excellence whilst simultaneously working on various strategic ad hoc projects such as system implementations, financial diligence and external market analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferably a qualified accountant or has relevant experience
  • Experience with Power Query/BI and big data models is advantageous
  • Preferably have an interest in the technology and the digital industry
