Summary

Join KAYAK's Marketing team as a Campaign/Project Manager on a freelance basis to lead cross-functional collaboration and guide internal resources to ensure the successful delivery of impactful campaigns.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Ability to successfully work on multiple projects/tasks in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Experience of at least 5 years in project or campaign management, ideally in PR, Brand, or Content Marketing
  • Proven track record of managing successful marketing campaigns with multiple stakeholders
  • Skilled in working with remote teams
  • Familiarity with a variety of digital media workflows, content management, and localization
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress is a plus
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with KAYAK’s market and industry trends in travel and digital marketing is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement detailed project plans for data-driven PR and content marketing campaigns aimed at generating earned media
  • Contribute to task estimation and sprint retrospectives
  • Closely collaborate with cross-functional peers across Global PR, Data Insights, Brand and Growth and Asset Operations to anticipate the needs of a project and accurately determine project scope
  • Provide project updates and project documentation on a consistent basis to various departments about project adjustments, and progress
  • Drive project completion by solving problems and overcoming obstacles
  • Coordinate the creation of landing pages, ensuring technical specifications and project timelines are met
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and resource allocation effectively, ensuring high-quality outputs and timely delivery of campaign components
  • Be the knowledge expert of your project(s) approved methodologies, style guides, toolkits, and legal standards
  • Identify areas for process optimization and lead iterative improvements based on data and lessons learned
