Summary

Join Civitech, a public benefit corporation dedicated to enhancing civic participation, as their General Manager. The position requires a strong technology sales background in government, proven success in prospecting across large geographical regions, and the ability to independently establish the brand. The role is remote-first, with the option to work from the Austin, TX office, and offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Requirements

  • 7+ years consultative sales experience & success as an individual sales contributor, meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Demonstrated success prospecting & finding/closing opportunities through your own efforts (75%) while managing inbound marketing leads (25%)
  • Experienced selling in committee-driven environments with multiple, cross-functional decision makers
  • Goal oriented & self-motivated
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Committed to leveraging technology & data products to increase civic participation

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with current customers, leading regular strategic conversations to identify additional opportunity & ensure customer satisfaction
  • Develop & execute a new business/prospecting plan
  • Collaborate with the extended team to execute GTM strategy
  • Conduct industry research, identify market trends, best practices, & leverage referrals to identify prospective customers
  • Develop customized outreach strategies to target & engage prospects
  • Build & maintain a healthy pipeline across the territory & accurately forecast deal values & timelines
  • Lead high-level conversations with prospects to qualify client needs & align the value of your solution
  • Attend virtual & in-person events within the government sector
  • Log all sales activities & client contacts in HubSpot
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Hubspot
  • Relationship building, great oral & written communication skills
  • Experience working with election offices, county commissioners, & city councils
