General Manager

Summary

Join Papa's new standalone business as its General Manager and lead its growth from inception. This role demands a highly entrepreneurial leader to operationalize and scale a successfully funded venture. You will own end-to-end strategy and operations, encompassing marketplace development, process design, business development, product leadership, and team building. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in startup leadership, strategy consulting, or related fields within the healthcare sector. This is a full-time, remote position.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in startup leadership, strategy consulting, business operations, product management, and/or the healthcare sector
• Be an entrepreneur at heart, who does not see barriers, only opportunities. Have experience leading and scaling a new business, product, or service line
• Have experience overseeing multiple cross-functional teams. Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills
• Be a strategic operator balancing vision and execution
• Be data-driven with a history of driving business growth
• Be a strong communicator and collaborator
• Be passionate about improving healthcare access and outcomes

Responsibilities

• Take the business from zero to one and beyond. Roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to build and grow the business
• Hire and manage the business’s dedicated Marketing, Operations, and Product/Engineering teams
• Grow two sides of the marketplace, finding creative ways to acquire supply and demand while providing a meaningful experience
• Build processes, technology, and workflows for scalability
• Own the P&L, ensuring sustainable growth and measurable impact
• Be client facing with enterprise clients from time-to-time

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with the payer/provider business model
• Have experience with marketplace development
