Genesys Cloud Engineer

Summary

The job description is for a remote Genesys Cloud Engineer position at EDCi offering various benefits. The role involves designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting Genesys Cloud Solutions, administering and supporting these solutions, coordinating technical papers, articles, standard operating procedures, best practices, performing in-depth analysis, balancing support and project work, collaborating with various teams, and supporting testing efforts. Essential skills required are at least 2 years of experience in Genesys Cloud CX technology, knowledge of Media/Voice gateway knowledge is a plus, excellent client service attitude, understanding best practices for a service organization, and development skills such as Java/Java Script, HTML, Rest WEB Services, Genesys Cloud CX API's, Microsoft SQL Server, web-services, and 3rd party API's. Additional preferred skills include 1+ years of experience in network administration and support, .NET development or C# Experience.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in Genesys Cloud CX technology
• Knowledge of Media / Voice gateway knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of SIP Protocol implementation and support Preferred
• Excellent client service attitude and team focus
• Understand best practices for a service organization

Responsibilities

• Responsible for design, configuration, implementation, and support of IVR/ACD scripts for Genesys Cloud Solutions
• Responsible for administration and support of Genesys Cloud solutions
• Coordinate and write technical papers, articles, standard operating procedures and best practices
• Perform in-depth analysis combining complex technical and business issues
• Ability to balance both support and project work when applicable; able to meet support/project milestones
• Collaborates with Technical Account Managers, Project Managers & Sales where applicable
• Support testing effort
