Summary
Join Deel as a Global Benefits Manager and oversee the design, administration, and management of Deel's global benefits and perks programs. Ensure that benefit offerings are competitive, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with company culture and team member needs. Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver an exceptional benefits experience globally. Manage the day-to-day administration of global benefit programs, including health, welfare, retirement, and perks. This role reports to the Associate Director of Global Benefits and is an individual contributor role. You will play a key role in ensuring Deel's benefits programs are compliant with applicable laws and regulations in each country.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of progressive professional experience in the management of a global team member benefits programs
- Experience with developing and implementing benefit programs, preferably in a large and complex organization
- Strong knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to think globally and process complex information and philosophies regarding a global workforce that includes contractors, EOR team members, and direct employees
- Excellent processing skills and attention to detail
- Ability to come up with creative, inclusive, and equitable solutions for team members across more than 100 countries
- Self-motivated, independent, cooperative, flexible, creative, and responsible
- Desire to, and the ability to, work in a highly collaborative yet fully distributed, global team environment
- Ability to successfully work autonomously and with self-motivation and self-direction
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day administration of global benefit programs, including health, welfare, retirement, and perks
- Assist with the design and implement competitive and compliant benefits and perks programs
- Conveys benefit related data to internal team members by coaching, counseling, and mentoring
- Resolves team member questions and problems by interpreting benefit policies and procedures
- Partner with brokers, consultants, and vendors to evaluate and manage benefit offerings and vendor performance
- Assist with the annual benefits renewal processes, including plan design updates, financial analysis, and communications planning
- Ensure global benefits programs are fully compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirements in each country
- Verify & maintain data relative to insurance premiums, claims and costs
- Assist with benefits-related vendor relationships and ensure accurate service delivery and escalated issue resolution
- Develop and deliver clear team member communications to drive understanding and engagement with benefit and perks offerings
- Support global benefits benchmarking efforts to ensure market competitiveness
- Collaborate closely with Payroll, Finance, and Legal teams to coordinate benefits deductions, audits, and compliance activities
- Monitor benefits trends, legislative changes, and best practices to recommend enhancements to the company's benefits strategy
Preferred Qualifications
Experience highly preferred with statutory requirements for employee benefit plans and programs in the United States, United Kingdom, Israel, Germany, Canada, France, Spain, Australia, and/or the Netherlands
